Event: Bloggers and kids invited to #SaversSummer events

kids playing in parkThere’s a great event happening next Monday and Tuesday, August 6 & 7 in London as well as family events around the UK, focussed on how to have a great affordable summer with the kids.

With a third of parents predicting that they’ll be in debt this summer due to the school holidays, Morrisons, in partnership with Play England, has launched its Savers Summer campaign. It offers parents free and low-cost ideas on how to keep the kids entertained throughout the summer holiday.

As part of the campaign, Morrisons is touring the country with its M Savers Summer Play Parks visiting 10 locations across the UK.

There will be activities for the kids and lots of information about budgeting, summer recipes and food.

If you blog about saving money, crafts, family fun or food, you won’t want to miss out! We’ll be attending the London event and writing about it and would love to include a link to your coverage!

On the 6th and 7th in London we’ll be at Acton Square. Also there will be the best known female money saving and consumer champion in the UK Sarah Willingham and Play England – great sources of content – to provide tips and ideas.

Find a #SaversSummer event near you!

I agree Claire, one in Wales would have been good. I know Morrisons are a Bradford based company, but Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield & Sheffield is a bit of overkill for that corner of Yorkshire.
