The Appeal Process
This month, Helen from Casa Costello shares with us their experiences of appealing the secondary school allocation. It is a brilliant insightful read about what to expect at a school appeal and hopefully will put many parents at ease.
Making Education Fun
Terri, from The Strawberry Fountain, has been testing out some brilliant looking educational quizzes to help kids make the transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 in a fun way. Terri says “education should be fun and that children should learn without realising that they are being taught”. I couldn’t agree more!
Once the weather has perked up a bit, Jemma, from Thimble and Twig has put together a whopping 24 things to do with nature on a woodland walk post. From plate decoration to building fairy houses – this is a great post for home educating families and nature lovers alike.
You’ve Been Loving
Sarah, from Let Them Be Small is a home educator and has been testing out Letterbox Lab with her little ones. The latest box looks like a lot of fun!
