Dads Round-Up: Welcome to the cabaret!

Dads Round-Up: Welcome to the cabaret!

dadsWilkommen! Bienvenue! Welcome! To the cabaret!

I’m Spencer, your MC for this month’s dad’s round-up and on the bill today I’m proud to list some stars of the dad blogging world, in my eyes anyhow. Award winning. Inspiring. Funny and brilliant. These gents have it all and then some. They’re all that and a bag of chips as my dear old gran used to say.

Some are household names, something I aspire to as I’m not even a household name in my own household.

If you’ve not had a chance to read their work then please do. They inspire me with their creativity, their outlook on the world, their humour and their words. Clever, soft, brave, and some of them I have to look up. If I ever have a bit of a blogging blockage then I take a look at any or all of these, learn something immediately, and then weep into a bucket because the thing I learn is that I’ll never be as good as any of them.

But, at least I’ve got my looks and these guys are, without a doubt, shockers. Absolute horrors. So ugly they have to creep up on the mirror in the morning. So ugly they have to put a bag on their head to get a dog to hump their leg. So UGLY  they make onions cry.

I’m joking obviously. This is how men joke. So I read somewhere.

If they were a boy band they’d be Take That. If they were a rock band they’d be The Rolling Stones. If they were a crack commando unit sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit, they’d be the A-Team.

Great dads, great men, great writers. Men I’d be honoured to call Dad.

And so here are this month’s Famous Five. *Bows* Welcome to the cabaret!

About Spencer

@ADadCalledSpen - I'm not a writer or a journalist, just proud to be a dad to two amazing children. I blog at Dad and Proud and talk about parenting, divorce, mental health and Life. Frequently at the same time. My favourite colour is yellow and I find moths a bit creepy.
