Good Reads

It's been a very big week in the BritMums blogosphere! The launch of the NEW (and many say improved) BritMums has gone swimmingly! Everyone is diving in (is there a theme here) and getting involved in groups, discussions, Blog Buzz and more. We're so thrilled with the excitement and energy and assure you that there are many more BIG things to come from BritMums in the very near future. Hold onto your hats!

As ever, at BritMums HQ, we're always keen to draw your attention to outstanding posts which will have you smiling, laughing, crying and/or thinking. We've got quite a few this week that are really tripping our trigger so have a look at this week's BritMums Good Reads.

• As you hopefully know, BritMums is running the What's in your handbag challenge. Joanne Mallon gave us quite a laugh with her entry this week! Top marks for creativity in Joanne's What's in your handbag entry. We hope to have more like this!
• At 12 Hours to Bedtime we learn about a new "S-word" that has this BritMum laughing. I wish we could have had a video of the special song at the end of this post!
• Our resident video diva, Geekmummy, had a special anniversary this week! The Thirteen Year Itch shows us just how much ones life can change in 13 years! 
• Have you read about Potty Mummy and her Bikini Summer? Apparently if you are afraid of bikinis, Croatia is not the country to holiday in!
• Cari Rosen of The Secret Diary of a Secret Diary shares a secret many of us have. Why I'll Never be a Grown-Up Lady will speak to many of you. I might need to go try that mascara now though!
• Have you ever stressed and strained and spent the whole bloomin' day in the house thanks to an errant courier? Well, Mummy Matters is giving Dear DHL a piece of her mind this week. Hands up to everyone who agrees??
• We always enjoy getting to know new people so when Mutterings of a Fool decided to share 10 Things you didn't know about me, we couldn't resist. And he's a DAD!
• There's a very special event going on over at Two Become Four! Tilly and Jasper turn 2 is exceptionally adorable. Happy Birthday to you both!
• At Not the Tiger Mum, Kathleen shares a very personal post that will help a lot of people. When the Darkness Came is an inspirational read. 
• We simply adore Rosie Scribble's What Blogging is Really About post this week. Have a wonderful weekend Rosie!
