Summer holiday is drawing to a close. School uniform shopping is in high swing and thoughts are turning to lunchboxes, play dates and after school sporting activities. So much to do and now, so little time left! This week’s blog prompts, therefore are about learning lessons and highlighting your best bits of the Summer Holiday. It’s always good to reflect isn’t it?
Prompt 1: Lesson learned
Inspired by a rather hilarious post from Momma of Mojo, this week we challenge you to share the parenting lessons that you have learned. This could be similar Momma of Mojo or you could do a Back to School edition if you’re one of those parents who has “been there done that”. Think of it as your call to duty to inform all who will follow in your wake. You’re educating the next group of parents after all! Share your infinite knowledge.
Prompts 2: Summer highlights
We tip our bloggy hats to Kate Takes 5 whose Listography Linky is exceptionally popular and ask for you to give us your Summer Holiday TOP FIVE! It could be your top 5 photos, memories, quotes, recipes, holiday moments or television shows. Whatever the theme may be, share with us your best bits from the Summer of 2012!
As ever, the BritMums Blogging Prompts are about igniting a spark and setting loose your creative genius! Write up a post for one or both prompts, publish it on your blog and then pop back here to add your post URL to the Linky below. Do try to visit a few other bloggers efforts as that’s really the point of a Linky. We hope you enjoy sharing your experiences and learning from others at the same time!
Happy final days of summer and just keep blogging!
