BritMums Blogger of the Week: Making it Up

The sun is shining (hopefully where you are too) and the air is just that bit warmer which I think we’ll all agree is just what the doctor ordered! High Five for Mother Nature, right? Life just seems that bit brighter when the sun shines on our shoulders, doesn’t it? And since we’re all feeling cheerful and happy, let’s shine the light on a blogger who’s been around the block a few times but never ceases to amaze many of us with her talents, sensibility and standards. This week’s BritMums Blogger of the Week is…

Jax (@liveotherwise) from Making it up! Jax has been blogging for years now and has a great technological background. I can’t tell you the number of times that I see bloggers sending up SOS signals for something that has gone wrong on the back-end of their blog and Jax always is willing to try and help. In addition to helping other bloggers, Jax spends the bulk of her time homeschooling her three children and is currently expecting their fourth! “I don’t know how she does it!” springs to mind.

Jax and family are one of several blogger families chosen by Butlins to be an Official Mums Ambassador. They recently had their first visit to Butlins Bognor Regis location with Jax SOLO PARENTING while her OH stayed home to do DIY! Brave or insane?! I vote for a bit of both! Sounds like they had a great time, however.

We’ve also been very impressed with Jax’ dedication to causes close to her heart. We were thoroughly educated about The Spartacus Report which, prior to Jax’s posts, we had known very little about. Jax is to be commended for leading the charge to draw awareness to something that affects so many individuals and families around the country.

The hot topic of the last few weeks has been Pinterest. Have a look at why Jax is taking the Pinterest button off her site. We can always count on Jax to help clarify issues for us in the blogging world. Thanks for your dedication Jax!
