BritMums Blogger of the Week: Geekmummy

BritMums Blogger of the Week: Geekmummy

I don’t know about you but this week I’ve had to become reacquainted with the rest of the channels on my television. It’s been refreshing to have more than 2 channels to watch but I’ve also missed the pomp and circumstance of the Olympics. Every so often I make Ella stand up on a box, hold a bouquet of flowers and wear a tin foil medal while I sing “God Save the Queen.”

In lieu of subjecting my daughter to more medal ceremonies, I’ve directed my energy toward awarding this week’s BritMums Blogger of the Week. The delightful, clever, generous and talented Ruth Arnold, Geekmummy, has been in the BritMums blogging community for a fair while now and I thought it high time that we acknowledged her!

Ruth has been at the forefront of innovative blogging thanks to her creative and professional use of video blogging and podcasting. Alongside her equally talented partner, John Arnold, Ruth makes the technical side of blogging user-friendly and is always keen to help others. Her mastery of apps on the iPad is legendary. If you’ve got a question related to geekery in blogging, Ruth is your guru!

Ruth will be sharing her tips and tricks though the newly created “Ask Geekmummy” on the BritMums Blog. What a generous blogger and technician Ruth is. She also happens to be one of the nicest and most genuine bloggers in the community and is helpful to newbie and veteran bloggers alike.

Tune in to Geekmummy, John and Ruth’s new site Parental Geekery and Ruth’s social media channels (Twitter-@R2uk, @geekmummy; Google+: geekmummy) for lovely posts, technical advice and the latest gadgetry for us all. Congrats to Ruth…should we all sing “God Save the Queen” just to relive the last few weeks?? No? Well, alright…maybe a “Pip Pip” then?

That’s this week in the blogosphere. Have a wonderful weekend and happy blogging!

What a great choice, you would go a long way to find a funnier, more helpful and knowledgeable blogger than Ruth.
