Baby, look at you now!

There are few things more heartwarming than photos of cute kids – especially at Christmas! It is the time of year when there are all the ‘looking back at the year that was’ programmes on TV so I thought it would make a fun blog post to show you what the BritMums team looked like… as babies! As bloggers, we share so many photos of our kids as babies and children, this time the tables have turned! The people behind the monthly round-up posts, our Managing Director and Creative Director, the Social Media Manager – all look so professional in their head & shoulders shots that accompany their posts, but here’s how they started out!

Let’s kick off with very own Susanna Scott – Managing Director at BritMums.  Aww!

Now here’s the BritMums Creative Director Jen Howze who promises us that she is a normal colour in real life!! At the studio where they did the photoshoot they hand tinted the pictures a bit so she looked like a pink healthy baby. As a result she says, her appearance is very pink in this slightly faded version!

Here is one of me, I’m now the BritMums Editor but I still seem to have the same expression…  Just take a look at the author box at the end of this post to compare!

BritMums Social Media Manager Aby Moore is here on the beach – probably looking for a wifi hotspot!

Here’s Sharon Parry, our Teen & Tween Round-up Editor. Isn’t she lovely – like a doll!  She’s a Dr now you know.

Claire Kirby, our LOL Round-up Editor with the neighbour’s dog. She doesn’t look too happy about being so close but these days she really loves animals! 

Amie Shearer, our Under 30 Parents Round-up Editor who feels her sense of style has improved since 1993!  I love how tall she is standing – great posture!

Here’s Baking Round-up Editor Kirsty Phillipson-Lowe.  What is that she’s spotted in the distance…. could it be CAKE!  I’d have this expression too!

Victoria Welton rocks the 1970’s baby look in this one.  Plus what a chair!  I’d love one of those in my house!

Steph Curtis, our SEND Round-up Editor here as a baby with her (in my humble opinion) very trendy mama! In the background is her older brother – I just love his baggy nappy!

Instagram Editor Amy Treasure with a cat – I love how even back then she could match up the foreground to the background.  Now we just need to add a filter, crop a little and Instagram done! #checkedcat

Home Design Editor Amanda Cottingham thinks this may have then the start of her love of travel!  She could definitely ‘blog travel’ with all those buckets and spades!

Our Pet Round-up Editor Liz Burton is a twin and is here on the right as Little Red Riding Hood for the Jubilee fancy dress party on her street! Her brother is dressed as a chef!  What a cute pair!

Our Blogging Tips Round-up Editor Clare Nicholas could give us all a few tips on how to get such lush and full hair!  Here she is with the latest hairstyle, working it for the camera!

Arts & Culture Editor Mandi Morrison loved the ballet even then.  Here she is doing what looks like a curtsy!

Sam Wills our Health Round-up Editor is the newest BritMums Round-up Editor on the block. All that writing and figuring out the site must have been exhausting, so she takes a little nap!

Environment Editor Kate Davis always loved the great outdoors – here she is trying to get out of her pushchair to enjoy it!

Hannah Spannah from the Single Parent Round-up is looking rosy cheeked in this shot.  Must be all the excitement about waiting for Santa!

Current Affairs Editor Kate Tunstall is a happy baby… and look how tiny!  But she has the biggest smile for the camera!

Finally I’ll leave you with  Jessica Brown from the Bumps & Babies Round-up in her beautiful knitted dress and curly curls.
