The #bootschristmas give-away is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. It is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), excluding employees and their families of the Promoter, its associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies and agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Participants must be 18 years or over.- The competition opens Saturday 1st December 2012 and closes Friday 14th December 2012 (the “promotional period”).
- To enter, users must tweet @BritMums and use #bootschristmas and nominate another Twitter user to receive a Boots Christmas gift, along with a reason why that person deserves to receive a Boots Christmas gift. It is a condition of entry that all postings are subject to the terms and conditions. Submission of a posting will be taken to mean acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
- To nominate a fellow Twitter user you must tag them in your response AND use the #bootschristmas hashtag, AND include a reason why they deserve a gift. All tweets abiding by this rule will be automatically entered into the draw.

- All nominations must be received by 14:00 14th December 2012
- Users may nominate unlimited Twitter users per day during the promotional period.
- Nominees may be nominated unlimited times but may only win once during the promotional period.
- Recipients of gifts will be chosen at random by a third party. Only friends, who have been nominated according to clause 2, are able to be recipients of gifts.
- One Boots Christmas gift will be given away per day during the promotional period.
- Recipients will be notified via DM. They have 48 hours to respond and claim their gift after being notified, after which time the gift will be considered unclaimed and will be re-assigned using a random selection method.
- Gifts are administered separately from BritMums. BritMums, its partners and agents are cannot be held responsible for problems related to fulfillment of gifts including non-delivery or substitution due to original gift being unavailable.
- It’s the responsibility of the recipient to ensure they are eligible to receive the gift. The recipient is solely responsible for travel costs, insurance, applicable taxes and for any costs, expenses and charges not specified as being included in the gift description in the competition information.
- The Promoter may vary or amend the promotion at its absolute discretion.
- The promoters accept no responsibility for technical difficulties which may result in Tweets not appearing in the Twitter stream as viewed via Twitter.com and therefore not eligible.

- Tweets with the Party hashtag(s) may be used in promotional materials for BritMums, published on the BritMums network, used on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and other social media platforms and/or published in the BritMums blog. Participation will be taken as agreement for use of material in this way.
- Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of a gift impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
- These rules are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
