It seems like a long, long time ago now that we were all enjoying Brit Mums Live together but it wasn’t even a fortnight ago, doesn’t time fly?
The wonderful thing about such a successful event is the ripple effect it creates and today we’re celebrating three of our favourite bloggers who have been named in their local paper the Harpenden People.
Ruth Dawkins, Lisa Pearson and Emily Quinton share the space as the Harpenden loudly applauds the local ladies and informs their readers of their fabulous achievements.
All three are very pleased to be featured and it goes without saying that the more the media picks up on our importance in the blogosphere the greater the benefits to the entire community.
Blogging has come a long way from the misperceived idea of ‘bored mums at home writing to pass the time away’ to ‘Mums leading the way and becoming influencers in all areas of the market and it’s important we celebrate our communal achievements together and acknowledge that together we are a force to be reckoned with.
Lisa from The Mummy Whisperer won the Inspire category which recognises bloggers who have been an inspiration to their community over the last year.
Emily Quinton who writes The Start Up Wife won the best photographers category Snap! and
Ruth Dawkins from Dorky Mum was one of the 12 bloggers to read a keynote at the end of Brit Mums Live voted by thousands of fellow bloggers.
Well done ladies from all of us here at Brit Mums HQ
