Karin from Cafe Bebe is back this week with another instalment of Blogger of the Week plus 10 other great finds. Tune in, log on, leave comments.
Tis the season to be jolly and all that jazz, right? There are three weeks left until Christmas. I have NOTHING done. I have managed to write a post a day since December arrived but I have not managed to do thing one to prepare for Christmas. I have also procrastinated Christmas to seek out and bring to you this week’s British Mummy Blogger of the Week. I’m dedicated like that. Never mind that we haven’t picked out, purchased or wrapped our daughter’s presents…I’ve found a brilliant Blogger of the Week.
This blogger has two children who are seven years apart which makes her an amazingly brave woman in my books. This blogger helped to make my Sunday considerably brighter by blogging about a hysterical holiday site where you can “Elf Yourself” which you simply must try.
This clever mummy brings new meaning to the idea of a STINKY baby after marinating her daughter in garlic to ease her cold symptoms. It obviously works but I’m not sure I want my daughter being quite so pungent. I also love this blogger’s suggestion for a Thanksgiving/Christmas handmade tree where the whole family can give thanks and show their appreciation for each other. What a great idea! Plus it uses handprints, which are my favourite decorations.
One of my favourite posts, however, was this blogger’s play-by-play of her youngest daughter’s naming ceremony, which brought a tear to my eye. It’s so wonderful to look back on these amazing moments in your family to know what’s truly special and meaningful. I give you this week’s British Mummy Blogger of the Week…Anna Colette (pictured above) of Part Mummy, Part Me. Have a look at her blog, go Elf Yourself and give Anna some love.
