The Easter Holidays, School Half-Term, Royal Wedding and a myriad of Bank Holidays have put us off our Blogger of the Week regular schedule. For that, we apologise. We’re back on track honouring brilliance in blogging every week and pointing you in the best direction to follow new and exciting blogs and their authors.
This week we bring to your attention, the blog of a very special Mummy Blogger who was a Super Mummy last week. What made her such a Super Mummy? Well, bringing forth her latest gorgeous creation a mere two hours after arriving in hospital, accompanied by only gas-and-air makes her pretty much a Super Mummy in anyone’s book. That Super Mummy/Blogger of the Week is… Kelly (@Kellyfairy) from A Place of My Own.
Kelly has been blogging for a while now. She’s seen it all come and go; she’s welcomed her gorgeous boy Piran after a rather a rather challenging (to say the least) labour and delivery; she’s created gorgeous, hand-crafted pieces of work for one and all to see; she’s amused us and made us cry with her beautiful way with words. Have a read of her recent post before the arrival of Baby Kate entitled Dear Thumper. Sniff!
We love how Kelly tweeted her way through her labour and delivery and how Twitter (and all of us) kept her company in hospital before being released to bring Baby Kate home. Do add “A Place of My Own” to your reading rota, if it’s not already there and give a HUGE BritMums welcome to our newest Bloggy Baby, Kate. Congratulations Cheesley Family!
For our 10-must-reads of the week, to whet your cooking and baking whistle, we’re focusing on FOODIE bloggers who are in need of your eyes and ears!

Gosh it has taken me days to get here and comment but thank you so much. I was completely shocked when I saw myself here and may have had a little happy tear or two. Obviously those pesky hormones!
