Most exciting news of the week? The BritMums Christmas Meet-up to be held at the Imperial War Museum on the 4th December. I’m going and I’d love to see you all there too. Mince pies and festive fun all round, a cheerful tune and the shop is open offering us all a discount too.
Most annoying news of the week? The twins have started recorder lessons at school so I get to listen to them practising at home.
How has your week been? I will admit to having started the Christmas shopping and this weekend I shall be packing up the items that need to be sent abroad and posting them all off in good time as the Italian postie is notoriously late and never his fault of course, always someone else further down the line.
This year the NSPCC asked me to be one of their Letter from Santa Ambassadors and encourage all my readers to sign up for a Letter from Santa. I ordered one each for the twins this week, I love how the letters can be personalised and really make each child feel special. For a donation of only £5 per letter I think it’s an excellent idea and you have until 10th December to order one and all letters will be sent out on 17th December. The post I link to shows various comments form children who have used Childline over the years and why this service is a lifeline to some children.
which post are you going to choose for this week’s MBPW? Please add it to the Linky below and have yourselves a wonderful weekend

Oh, I really wish I could make it to the meet-up. But we'll be away that week. :-( Would love for similar events throughout the year. (It's always nice to meet online friends and acquaintances in real life!)

BritMums do organise Meet ups throughout the year all over the country so keep an eye out on the newsletter as they are a lovely way of putting faces to names. Enjoy your time away!

I like the sound of the meet-up but I can't make it. Good luck with the recorder practice!

Oh that's a shame Mel, for me it's like my 'office party' :) I hid the recorders for a while over the weekend, they forgot the notes they had learnt so were just blasting random choones. *ouch*

Ah recorder lessons do not sound like fun! Glad you have managed to make a start on your Christmas shopping - I need to do the same! Love the NSPCC letter to Santa - we're getting ours from a different charity this year but got Jessica's first Christmas letter from NSPCC and it was such a lovely personalised letter. Thanks for hosting #MBPW

Wet Sundays and recorder practise I hard to deal with I have discovered this weekend! I love the NSPCC First Christmas letter, it's so sweet and makes such a lovely memory doesn't it?
