My Best Post of The Week >> Add yours!

MBPWOne thing I love about the blogging community is we are all intelligent and opinionated people who aren’t afraid to say what we think. This is great, we all love debate and even opposite thoughts to our own can work in such a way that they allow us to contemplate what others are thinking and question ourselves where we stand.

Each one of us chooses to blog in a certain matter. We have our own boundaries and choose exactly when to push them and how far we go. We love our blogs and we take care of them and every single one of us should remember that.

I noticed a post come up on my Facebook timeline this week, ‘I changed my blog header to purple as I was told people didn’t like pink.’

I was sad that this blogger felt the need to change something so personal to make others happy. Lots of people don’t like pink, lots of people LOVE pink. So what? Please stay true to who you are and choose the colour, theme layout that best describes you.

There’s also been a lot of moaning out there, that’s the flip side to being opinionated I suppose. Some of us choose to include reviews, sponsored posts and all sorts of material to make up our blog. We work with brands, we receive products and sometimes money for the work we do. It is our choice and I take my hat off to Sabina at Mummy Matters who stands up and proudly shouts out, ‘It’s my blog and I’ll write what I want to.’

Take a leaf out of her book and stand up for yourself.

Looking at my past week I have a brilliant recipe for Tagliata di manzo plus the chance to win a really cool grill if you like cooking.

Susanna has been having a great time reviewing a hotel and restaurant on London’s trendy South Bank and Kate’s talking about how being different is good.
