It’s October and there’s so much going on, how many of you signed up to go Sober in October? I didn’t I’m afraid. I don’t drink every night of the week but come the weekend it’s my one treat of an evening a glass of wine and I just don’t want to give that up but hats off to everyone having a go, my cousin is so pleased with herself she’s updating her Facebook status every evening with the day number (Day 4) and her new soft drink she has discovered. Yesterday it was Lime and soda has never tasted so good. Well if you say so dear
October is also Breast Cancer awareness month and I was surprised, pleased and not pleased to find I’m due my first breast screening as they’ve lowered the age now to 47. I was surprised because I wasn’t aware of the age extension, pleased because I think it is a good thing and not pleased because they’ve just reminded me I’m on my way to 50.
It is also FrOctober month which Aly from Plus 2 point 4 explains is to raise awareness of PNI and PND all you have to do is wear a frock or skirt every day and donate some money to the charity, now I can do this one and what a great excuse to get my favourite boots out!
