Welcome ladies and gentlemen to 2014!

The weather is atrocious and I hope none of you have been affected by the floods in the UK this past week. We’ve been staying snug indoors with the odd escape to feed squirrels and visiting Daddy at work, I have fond memories as a child of visiting my dad at work so it’s something Iv’e started doing with the girls and they love it. I meet with another mum and her son too and we make a day of it. With school starting up on Monday I hope they take some nice memories of Christmas 2013 with them.

My Best Post of The Week has to be the BritMums carnival I hosted on New Year’s Eve, my my my, there were over 40 entires and took me forever to sift through but people what fantastic blogs to look back on and read. I themed it My Best Post of The Year and you will not be disappointed.

So what have you decided on – resolutions, goals or plans? Or do you prefer to sit back and let life flow? I’ve decided to choose a word to live by and implement in 2014 and my word is balance, I need to balance the work/family ratio, doesn’t everybody? And I need to strive to my personal goal that has been hankering about for far too long.
