A special bedroom makeover edition this month, for my BritMums Round-up. It must be the time of year, or something in the blogging waters!
We have been doing our own children’s bedroom makeover for our youngest daughter. It was a small bedroom, and it really felt cramped. So we changed the flooring, added some clever storage and got rid of the built-in wardrobe and now the room feels modern, bright and spacious.
Nell has also been busy, converting her daughters nursery to a grown up bedroom. I love that the change in room, could have given a daughter a little more confidence at Nursery too!
A fantastic superhero bedroom makeover next from KA, after getting lots of inspiration from Pinterest, she’s mixed a timeless palate of colours and added pops of colour in the wall art and toys dotted around the room. I love that this also was used a time to talk to her son about the importance of charity and recycling, a great lesson learnt too!
Sue from Heart Home Harmony, has been making changes to her sons bedroom, as he is quickly growing up to the grand age of 9. It’s a lovely big bedroom, and the addition of panelling is brilliant, giving it more of a cosy feel.
Here is a en-suite bathroom makeover from Charlotte at the Home That Made Me blog. This was a new blog to me and I have spent this morning looking through all of her room tours, definitely worth a visit if you have the time. The en-suite makeover seems to have been a real labour of love, and one I could empathise with, as my own en-suite resulted in burst pipes and holes in the ceiling too. Love those tiles Charlotte!
And finally because I simply couldn’t resist it, how about this amazing transformation of a caravan from Twinkle Diaries…I absolutely love it!
