Picture the scene: Kids in the back of the car, you have errands to run and you have to stop for petrol and grab a few things for supper. This regular scenario can lead to big rewards at the end of the year! Here’s how you can earn on your everyday spends.

Whenever you visit Esso to fill up your tank or to pick up everyday essentials – swipe your Nectar card at the till when you pay and you’ll earn loyalty points at participating Esso stations*.

Make this part of your weekly routine and watch those points rack up. With lots of retailers to collect Nectar points with, including at participating Esso stations, you’ll find your points accumulate quickly. By the end of the year, you can easily have earnt enough points to redeem and put towards something you really want, like holidays, home furnishings, movie tickets, meals out, special gifts for loved ones and more.

Esso and Nectar logosHow can you earn Nectar points at Esso?

You can earn Nectar points on everything from a pint of milk to a tank of petrol. Esso customers can earn 2 points for every £1 spent on qualifying shop items at participating Esso locations and 1 point for every litre of fuel purchased, so don’t forget to swipe your Nectar card when you pay.

A bonus for busy days: Pay at pump… and earn points

An added benefit when visiting Esso stations: You can use the Esso App to pay for your fuel from the comfort of your car – no having to dash into the shop and queue if you don’t want to. It’s easy to link your Nectar card to the app. Next time you fill up at a participating Esso branded service station, park at the pump, open the Esso App and let it find your location. Then select your pump – it even notifies the store clerk so they know you’ve paid. You’ll be tallying up points faster than you can say ‘on the road again’. The app also tells you where the nearest Esso is before you set off. For your first app payment you’ll be rewarded with an extra reward of 500 Nectar points. Terms and conditions apply*.

A double points boost this winter:

From 5th November 2019 until 26th February 2020, for every qualifying purchase of £5 or more on shop items such as milk or snacks at participating Esso Stations, customers will receive double the number of Nectar points – helping to boost your points tally more quickly. Terms and conditions apply**.

I’m loving that I’ve discovered that I can not only earn loyalty points by filling up at Esso but have a way to pay at the pump! Makes stopping for fuel so much less stressful.

The 500 points to get you started with your Nectar points or give your account a boost for the festive season is excellent. I’ve found that by regularly using my Nectar card with the Esso App my points have accumulated quickly. the only tricky part is going to be choosing what to spend them on.
