42 Days of Summer Linky Challenge Terms & Conditions

  • This prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. It is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), excluding employees and their families of the Promoter, its associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies and agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Participants must be 18 years or over.
  • You take part by blogging about McVitie’s BN and/or family summer fun. Post entries can be picture posts, videos or text. Post must include the required text and URLs as detailed in “How to take part”.
  • 10 of winners will be chosen. Entries will be chosen at random via Random.org. Winners will receive 1 of 10 £100 John Lewis vouchers. There is no cash alternative to the prizes. Winner names will be published on the 42 Days of Summer post. Winners will be asked for a UK postal address and prizes will be sent via Royal Mail. Responsibility cannot be accepted for delays by postal services or incorrect details being provided by the winners.
  • Participants enter by posting on their blog about McVitie’s BN and/or family summer fun. Participants then enter the URL of the post onto the 42 Days of Summer Linky Challenge (alternatively, leave URL to the entry in the comments section of the same post), then tweet the URL using campaign hashtag #Sweeet.
  • Posts must include the text: “This post is an entry for 42 Days of Summer Linky Challenge sponsored by McVitie’s BN. Learn more at http://bit.ly/1mRpMCL.” (Links can be no-follow.)
  • No follow links are fine. Click here for information on how to create a free blog on Blogger.
  • Posts must be original works by the blog author to be eligible.
  • Participants may enter as many times as they wish by creating additional blog posts, so long as these are posted on a separate blog to the original entry.
  • All qualified entries must be received by 23:59 BST on 19th August 2014.
  • Winners will be notified via email to the email address they provided on their Linky entry. Prizes not claimed within 48 hours of notification will be re-assigned as unclaimed.
  • By entering the Linky, participants grant BritMums and McVitie’s the right to promote entries via their blogs, websites, network and social media channels such as Twitter, G+, Pinterest, Facebook and others.
  • The copyright of entries belong to the entrant, but entrant grants BritMums Ltd and McVitie’s the right to use and promote the blog posts.
  • The Promoter may vary or amend the promotion at its absolute discretion. • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical issues resulting in blog posts not being submitted.
