Make a super hero book with #KodakAvengers

superhero storybookSuper heroes have super strength but one of their strongest powers is their ability to inspire kids.  Anna from Imagination Tree is an ambassador for our #KodakAvengers Linky Challenge. She and her daughter used Avengers printables they printed out at home to create a notebook with exciting super hero images as a spur to imaginative writing. You can find your inner Super Hero and enter the Linky Challenge for your chance to win £500 or a printer and ink package worth £175. Every entry also gets a copy of Avengers Assemble on DVD, while supplies last! Hurry – the competition ends Friday 5 October 2012 at 17:00.

Anna describes their project:

…We used the posters to create an exciting story writing prompt to be put into a little book! We printed out the posters using the Kodak 7.1 Hero printer on A4 photo paper. I trimmed around the edges so that they would fit onto A4 card when stuck down and Cakie chose her favourites to use.

She stuck the pictures into her book and on another piece of card she wrote some emergent writing all about the pictures using some familiar letters and letter-like marks to represent meaning. Then she read back to me what she had written; “This story is about the goodies and the baddies who were fighting each other!”

The Linky celebrates the power of Super Heroes as well as the DVD and Blu-ray release of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, along with free printables for creating your own Super Hero adventure at home from Kodak.

Anna is highlighting the cool things you can do with the printables – join in and you could win £500 or one of 3 Kodak Hero 7.1 All-in-One printers plus Marvel’s Avengers Assemble on DVD!
