St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia

Jen from Jenography says: St. Lucia has gorgeous beaches, verdant rainforest, a drive-in volcano, a cocoa plantation, the two glorious Pitons rising above the island…and in the midst of all this, St James’s Club Morgan Bay, a marvelous base for a family stay. At the resort, you can do watersports ranging from sailing to waterskiing, staff-organised games, a gym and tennis. Six restaurants, family and adults-only pools and nightly entertainment — all of it is included in your stay. In addition, you can book excursions on the resort catamaran, drive to the Hotel Chocolat plantation tour, snorkel, zipline and more.

Verandah Resort and Spa Antigua

Cathy from Mummy Travels says: With the largest pool on Antigua, plus a few more for good measure, two beaches, all-inclusive watersports and four restaurants, plus a kid’s club, the only tricky part was fitting everything in to a week. Even better, there was as much to keep adults very happy as my three-year-old – the perfect family holiday combination.

The Caribbean side of At James Club Antigua. This is where you can try all the watersports!

St James’s Club and Villas Antigua

Susanna from A Modern Mother says: With 2 white sand beaches, 6 pools, 4 restaurants and grill, tennis courts, a spa and complimentary non-motorised water sports, it’s hard not to love this resort! We learned to windsurf, sail and the secret of jerk chicken. Venture off the resort for ziplining, swimming with stingrays and a visit to the historic Nelson’s Dockyard. You can do lots at St James’s Club – or just relax. Families will love it!

St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia looks amazing!

  107. 10 January 2016 / 21:54

Wow! What an amazing competition! If we won we’d like to go to the Verandah Resort and Spa Antigua. Our twins will be three in March and we’ve not had a family holiday with them yet. My two little water babies would be in heaven in those pools! Keeping every thing crossed – this would be a dream come true!

  108. 10 January 2016 / 22:26

What a really fabulous competition. Any of them would be wonderful but I would definitely have to say St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia – the lure of Hotel Chocolat is just too strong! And wouldn’t be wonderful to say that you have been to a drive-in volcano! That is something for Grace to show and tell at school which no one else has done! 🙂

  109. 11 January 2016 / 09:37

What a great competition! I’d love to stay at any of three but if I had to choose it would be St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, St. Lucia. Looks divine!

  110. 11 January 2016 / 12:51

Wow, thank you for an absolutely amazing opportunity. They all sound like absolute perfection. I’d stay at any of them however if I had to choose it would be The Verandah Antigua.

  111. 11 January 2016 / 19:18

I have always wanted to go to St Lucia so the answer really has to be St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia! It looks amazing! SO lush and green, my paradise!

  115. 15 January 2016 / 20:04

Oh how lovely to look at pictures of those resorts while sitting at my computer in frosty England. I can imagine myself in any of those resorts but I will choose St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia. The combination of beaches + rainforest + volcano is irresistible and the resort looks first-class. I particularly like the shape of the pool in the picture – very soothing – I can see myself doing a few squiggly lengths while the kids play games with the staff on the beach! Heaven.

  122. 19 January 2016 / 11:41

Oh my goodness, any of the three would be amazing but The Verandah Antigua just sounds like a dream come true. My husband has a real love for caribbean food so being able to take him would definitely be a tick on the bucket list!

  123. 19 January 2016 / 12:04

St James club Antigua. Though I guess we’d have to leave the toddler behind as there are 5 of us ? But it looks like the most autism friendly?

  124. Jen Brierley
    19 January 2016 / 14:23

Just. Wow. I would love to go to any but would choose Antigua. Nothing beats family time – especially when we see so little of each other with school, work, school, work and more work. This would make my year!!

  128. 19 January 2016 / 19:03

It’s a real tough decision but I would love to stay at St James Club Morgan Bay on St Lucia with my family. We’d make full use of the water sports on site and I’d love to try the zip wire close by. I’d also want to try the jerk chicken and a rum cocktail. Take me now!

  129. 19 January 2016 / 19:07

St.James club please! Although I’m not fussy ? 6 pools!!!

  130. 19 January 2016 / 22:49

Wow all three resorts look absolutely incredible! If you twist my arm I would have to choose St James Club Morgan Bay in St Lucia. My husband and I have many special memories in St Lucia as many of our first dates took place there! We met working on P&O Cruises, he was a an Electro Tech Officer, I was the Shore Excursions Mgr. We have fond memories of the Pitons, zip lining and making chocolate however we have never taken our sons to see the island that is so special to us:) It would be an incredible experience!

  131. 19 January 2016 / 23:41

Brilliant prize! If I was to win this for my little family then staying at Verandah Resort and Spa Antigua would be a dream come true! Thanks!

  141. 22 January 2016 / 10:37

What an amazing prize! Having climbed the peaks of Ngauruhoe, Tongariro and Ruapehu in New Zealand, the Soufriere volcano sounds fascinating – not to mention a lot less hard work! The rainforest (we’ve only experienced the Venezuelan jungle!), the cocoa plantation, making our own chocolate and a catamaran trip are also hugely appealing. We’re a family of three explorers that love to go on adventures so the St James Club, Morgan Bay in St Lucia seems the perfect resort for doing exactly that. We also adore on resort activities such as tennis, sailing and kayaking although we’re not afraid to try new things. Although we had the most amazing time in Antigua and we’d love to return as a family, something about St James’s Club, Morgan Bay in Antigua says we’d be able to capture a range of wonderful experiences both on and off resort.

  142. 22 January 2016 / 10:38
