    What are South African raisins?

South African raisins are a natural and concentrated source of energy. Just 30g (a handful) of raisins count towards one of your five a day!

South African raisins are a ‘natural powerhouse’. These little gems make a sweet, satisfying and healthy snack and are the perfect treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. Despite their small size, raisins are a concentrated source of natural energy and are packed full of nutrients and antioxidants. They can aid digestion, boost iron levels and keep bones strong.

Produced in the Orange and Olifants river regions, in the Northern and Western Cape respectively, South African raisins are 100% naturally sundried. The climate is dry and sunny, with an ample supply of water from the rivers, which makes ideal growing conditions to produce the highest quality raisins that have been ethically and sustainably farmed.

#SAraisins week is happening online from 22 – 28th March! Check out @southafricanraisins on Instagram for recipe inspiration. Look for South African Raisins in Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Co-op and M&S.
