Video Round Up – Making video work for you

Hope this find you well.  I’ve just been mesmerised watching a video of my five month old nephew‘s first train ride, you know when their eyes go back and forth as they watch the world go by out the window, very funny. He lives a way away and I miss him so much, but videos are a great way to keep in touch with his development.

So what’s been happening in the video blogging world? Why are you using video this month? You never cease to amaze me with your new uses for video.

Vloggers are telling me about opportunities to contribute to parenting Google plus projects and brand You Tube channels. I’m wondering if this might lead to some work opportunities in the future for video bloggers? Karin’s one to watch, she has created a home for all of her Google Plus Mummies Hangout videos, with lots of tips being shared by and for bloggers and parents.

I can also see lots of you being called up for TV work. Amanda’s little girl demonstrates she is destined for a role in television advertising, or as Mum of the Year, over at The Ana Mum Diary. Becky at Baby Budgeting also needs to be snapped up for a TV shopping channel role for this video review.

Lots of you are working imaginatively with brands. Jen of Love Chic Living has been demonstrating how to create the most awesome wall art and is keeping her followers up to date on the progress in her dining room. I am planning a hostile takeover very soon, I am just waiting for her to finish it, *evil cackle*

I’m hoping we’re moving to the country soon, so I was excited to see Fiona had captured the Halloween Party at Coombe Mill. Aly has been down by the river again and this time her 6 year old lost her wellies he he!

It’s dark outside, so Rebecca’s been exploring children’s fears, and asking who fights the monster under your bed? Missie Lizzie’s little one is very very excited about Autumn, this has to be the perfect anecdote to SAD.

Winter is also an excellent time to cheer yourself up with a pampering, so why not check out Super Amazing Mums’ school run make up in less than five minutes tutorial or her long and curly hair tutorial?

As we edge towards Christmas, over at Actually Mummy there’s a seven year old girl with a rather particular Christmas wish.
