Video Round-up: Celebrations all around

videoHello and welcome back to the video round-up and what a month it has been! We visited my in-laws caravan in Wales and had amazing weather and have been enjoying it since our return. To top it off my little guy turned four years old and had a lovely day with all his friends. I can’t believe he starts school in September, it seems like only two minutes since Holly started and now it’s his turn!

It seems you’ve all been celebrating too over the last months so I thought I’d share your celebration videos, starting with birthdays. Jess at Catch A Single Thought threw her son a Star Wars birthday party filled with lots of crafts and themed ideas, it looked like such a fantastic party – there were even Wookie cookies!

Kara at Are We Nearly There Yet was treated to a hot air balloon ride for her birthday and filmed the whole day – it’s something I’ve always wanted to try and Kara’s footage makes it look like an incredible experience. Definitely one to add to the bucket list!

Eileen Teo and her children have put together a dragon boat race video celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival, which looks like lots of fun and a great activity for the kids to take part in. Celebrating her honeymoon, Emily from the Peachicks and Us has filmed her and her new husband’s trip to the Sensatori Resort in Crete, which looks as amazing as I’ve heard it is.

Emma at Brummy Mummy of 2 is celebrating hitting 2000 subscribers on her channel, which is a fantastic achievement so well done to her! She has put together an Ask Me Anything video to answer all her viewers questions in celebration. Another channel celebrating hitting 2000 subscribers are Katy and James from Gibson Vlogs and they have put together a cake smash video to celebrate. I started vlogging a similar time to the Gibson’s and am so thrilled for them to see them hitting this milestone.

There seems to have been an influx of blogger babies recently including Katie at Mummy, Daddy & Me who welcomed a baby boy last month, you can watch her birth story video here. Also welcomed into the world was Charlotte at Write Like Noone’s Watching’s baby girl, Daisy Nelle, and although they had a difficult start to her journey she is now home and doing well. Charlotte has filmed a really touching update on life now her little girl is home and I think I speak for everyone at BritMums when I say we have all been thinking of you and send lots of hugs your way.

A celebration of a different kind comes from Becky Cowley who has put together a video chronicling her husband’s journey having his leg amputated due to bone cancer. Becky and her family are definitely an inspiration, smiling their way through such a difficult time and her videos show us that no matter what life throws at you, laughter is the best medicine.

So that’s it for this month’s video. To be considered for the next round-up tweet me at hollybobbs, or email me through my blog Hollybobbs. You can also join in my linky, Your YouTube, which is every Friday on my blog. Deadline for videos is July 17th 2016.
