Thinking of visiting Central Florida? Although we agree everyone has to visit “The Big Four” at least once, it’s not just about the world-famous theme parks! With the headwaters of the Florida Everglades at its southern tip, there are natural landscapes to explore, including ecotourism opportunities.
The tourist board for the city on Disney’s doorstep has just published this infographic on the Top 10 Ways to Experience Kissimmee. While Walt Disney World, Seaworld Orlando, Legoland Florida and Universal Orlando Resort all top the list — there are loads of other things to do whilst visiting.
Fancy ziplining through the tree tops or gliding across the headwaters in the Florida Everglades? How about taking in the views from a hot air balloon or spying on nesting Bald Eagles? Of course, one of my of my favourite things to do while in the States is to shop the outlets!
