Snapshot Round-up: Peace, peril and parenting

Snapshot Round-up: Peace, peril and parenting

We’ve got some wonderful shots for you this month, from mouthwatering sweeties to daring displays of bravery and warm, family moments. But before we dive into the photos I want to remind you all that there is no set standard for photos. You don’t need a fancy camera or to know your aperture from your elbow, all you need is a photo that means something, that says something, that evokes something. So keep snapping and you may well be appearing in a Snapshot Round-up sometime soon!

Rosie Scribble

This month my mouth was watering at Rosie Scribble‘s delicious shot of happiness. The variety of colours and types of sweets really drew me in.

Lous Lake View

When I came across this shot from Lou’s Lake View I found myself saying “oh wow!” without even thinking. I love how well it works in black and white and the foreground interest bring you into the image. I definitely want to visit such a beautiful place.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

And if I can’t get to the lake I’d happily spend some time on this beach that The Princess and The Pickle has shared, and it’s great to see people are out enjoying the seaside.

The Go To Mum

At the other end of the spectrum The Go To Mum terrifies me with a mid-air shot of a serious leap of faith!

Mrs TeePot

I caught some live music at an ex-pat music evening recently and this was one of the very talented performers.

But why mummy why

Over at But Why Mummy Why there’s a snuggly, cuddly photo that brought a smile to my face.

Mama Syder

Mama Syder shared a beautiful moment with us all this month, the light from the candles giving the image such a wonderful, warm glow and love just shining from the photo.

Don’t forget to link up your favourite images over the month using the linky below, and I’ll see you next month with another set of stonking snapshots!

About Livi Teepot

Mrs TeePot also goes by the name Livi and is a tea drinking, chocolate munching, social networking writer. She is a Brit living in France and travelling to Spain for those chilly winter months. In her spare time she enjoys reading and social networking. She has recently taken up photography and is really enjoying developing this exciting new skill and takes her Canon EOS 1000D everywhere. She’s very opinionated and strong willed and yet also old fashioned with a desire to go back to the 1950s. Ultimately from life she wants the white picket fence in the suburbs; the Disney fairytale.
