Snapshot Round-up: Happy Holidays

It’s that wonderful time of year when the parenting community takes a break from routine and adopts the role of magic maker. There’s nothing better than seeing the happiness of a child when they’re decorating a tree, visiting Father Christmas or relishing in Christmas Day itself.

This month’s Snapshot Round-up is all about the holidays and capturing joy. Kicking us off is this marvellous image from The Mummy Diary of her son visiting Santa.

Nativity plays are always special particularly when its for the first time. How wonderful that the Holloway family got to see their baby son as Jesus and their daughter in the same performance.

For Lilinha Angel’s World, the school nativity seemed like it was the most fun ever!

And Hollybobbs must have been so proud to see her daughter play an angel, especially in this amazing costume.

Tales of a Twin Mum had a very different kind of Christmas this year having moved to Australia a few months ago. This photograph of her twins was taken on Scarborough beach in Brisbane.

That’s not to say we can’t have Winter sun in the UK as Mammasaurus proved with her family’s post Christmas amble.

Also out having fun was Family Fever who explored a Winter Wonderland and mixed with giant polar bears.

While Charliemoos’ entertainment came in the form of Cinderella which featured Keith Chegwin and Cbeebies Katy Ashworth.

One of Mummy Adventure’s sons showed us how to look very cool on Christmas jumper day

and the equally fabulous Spud and Spike clan demonstrated they have the group shot down pat.

This delight from Barktime proved sometimes all you need is a red hat.

As for the Doves, Christmas is always special as our daughter Poppy was born on 25th December. This year she decided to spend part of her fourth birthday dressed as a fairy, completing the outfit with a Frozen wand and a Peppa umbrella.
