The serves, drop shots and aces of Wimbledon have inspired us as a nation and now all of us can enjoy a spot of tennis – for FREE! Whether you’ve never picked up a racket or have perfected a wicked backhand, you, your children and indeed your entire family can sign up for FREE tennis sessions including mini tennis (yes, you read that right), at the Great British Tennis Weekend (GBTW), on 16 and 17 July, 2016!
- Join Great British Tennis Weekend
- Saturday 16 – Sunday 17 July 2016
- Play tennis and enjoy mini sessions for kids
- ALL FREE!
- Sign up here at a tennis club close to you

During GBTW, clubs across the country throw open their doors (and courts) to all – free sessions, free court time, free fun even if you’ve never held a racket before. There are mini-sessions for kids as young as 3, sessions for adults, family tennis, and more – we personally love the idea of cardio tennis! Visit http://bit.ly/GBTWSignUp now to find the activities happening near you and to sign up.
GBTW is an initiative by the Lawn Tennis Association, the national governing body of tennis in Great Britain, and has been running since 2013 when Andy Murray’s first Wimbledon victory inspired a whole new generation to pick up a racket. But this isn’t just about celebrating professional tennis athletes or the game being played at the top levels – it’s about regular kids and families, even those who aren’t very sporty, getting involved with the game and learning to enjoy the moment of hitting a ball across the net or just chasing lobs around the court. It’s to show that tennis is for everyone!
Mark your calendar and sign up now to discover fun, free activities near you during the Great British Tennis Weekend.
