Type in the word ‘haul’ in YouTube or on Google and you’ll see there are literally thousands of shopping hauls on all sorts of things – from fashion and food to beauty and stationery!
And that’s what the July update is all about – a real mixed bag! So without any further ado, let’s take a look at what you lot have been shopping for….
Watching the pennies
Rachel’s Coffee, Cake, Kids blog post, 18 Things You Need From Poundshop caught my eye.
I’ve said it a million times, I enjoy shopping for value for money items – as long as they are quality products at great prices, so I was intrigued as to what Rachel managed to get.
Like Rachel, I was unaware that Poundshop was actually online – plus they do delivery.
Rachel picked up a whole range of goodies – from makeup and stationery to homeware and toiletries – have a read and see if anything catches your eye.
Also paying a visit to Poundshop was Jessica from Beauty And The Bibs who enjoyed spending her pennies on a selection of wares.
She picked up a range of cleaning products, drinks, kids’ toys, dog treats, food and makeup – all for £1 each, but her best buy (I thought) was a pair of reusable bags – two for £1!
Jenny from Midwife And Life went on a shopping haul to NEXT for her daughter Phoebe, who was going away on holiday and needed some new clothes.
Her purchases included a small zip bag for £8, summer sandals in rose gold (so on trend!) for £15, a pair of hats – featuring a unicorn and a rainbow, a jumpsuit for £11, a Cheetah swimsuit for £11 and a cotton wrap-dress for £11 featuring roses and polka dots, among other things.
Some lolly-pop shorts (for £13) looked fantastic and featured all different types of lollies on them. Plus the great news is that they had an adjustable waistline.
From fun to food – and everything else!
YouTuber and Instagrammer, Georgina, revealed the foods that she typically buys on her weekly shopping trip to Asda for her family of four.
My favourite of her food items was a mini carrot cake – you don’t feel as guilty when you eat a miniature one do you?!
Meanwhile, Fran from Back With A Bump is pumping iron in her post on essential gym wear. Damn the girl looks good in her clobber. I wish I had her physique – and muscles!
Fran showcases sports bras, trainers and tees – and manages to squeeze her feet into kids trainers (Rift Nike footwear), saving herself a few quid. My kinda girl!
Finally, moving onto homeware and Polly from Our Seaside Baby posted a wish list with some stunning items.
I particularly like the £85 IKEA desk that can be adjusted (and tilted) to fit either kids or adults.
Polly’s got great taste – the colourful poster, rug, lampshade and sofa are also items that I can see myself buying. Note to self: buy a lottery ticket.
Talking of lottery tickets, I couldn’t believe it when I won twice in two weeks – one for £25 and the other for £5.50!
Looks like I’m onto a winning streak – perhaps I should take myself clothes shopping…I might just discover I’ve dropped a dress size. Well, we can all dream!
