Politics Round-up; Budget Responses

Last week saw a new budget from the Conservative Party and in terms of what got parent bloggers talking, it was the promise of an introduction of a new rule that will see families unable to claim any welfare support for third and subsequent children post April 2017. Most people feel that, while it is reasonable to only have the family you can afford, this new rule will see many families really struggling should they suddenly hit a bump in the road – redundancy, marital break down, ill health or bereavement – life doesn’t always run smoothly, and nobody wants to see children go hungry.  Over to you:-

There will not be a politics round-up in August. Parliament goes on holiday (because it is a bit like school I guess?!) and so do many bloggers, so I will be back in September with response to the new Labour leader among other things.
