Pinterest: Pinterest crafts for Valentine’s Day

Hello and welcome back to the Pinterest Round-up. I’m your new Pinterest editor here at BritMums and will be sharing lots of tips with you on how to up your Pinterest game. This month we will be covering Pinterest from the very beginning and Valentine’s Day inspiration. Including crafts, recipes and gift ideas.

Pinterest From The Start

Firstly, let’s start with Pinterest for beginners. If you head over to Nicola’s post from Mummy to Dex she explains in a great step by step guide how she grew her blog traffic from Pinterest. Nicola’s fantastic post takes you right back to the start with simple tips on cleaning up your Pinterest profile and boards.

Kate from The Less-Refined Mind made a huge improvement with her Pinterest platform and saw her blog traffic double in a month. Kate explains in detail how she achieved those epic results and how you can as well. Head over to her blog to find out she achieved this.

The lovely Paula from Mummy Vs Work shares tips on increasing Pinterest reach with Tailwind and how it went from 5k to 255k in only two months. 

To set up your Pinterest account for business Kerry from Money Saving Journeys has a free step-by-step guide. Kerry shares all her tips on setting up your account, how to verify your blog and getting Rich Pins sorted. Rich Pins are a must to get your pins shown to your followers. They include information such as the headline, author and description, which is automatically imputed.  

Valentine’s Day Inspiration

It’s February the month of love! Pinterest is perfect for browsing for Valentine’s Day inspiration where you can find crafts, recipes and gift ideas. 

Are you stuck for gift ideas to give your special other half? Why not check out the gift guide over at Rachel Bustin where you can find gifts for him, her and a naughty but nice section. Clare from Freddies Mummy UK shares some great ideas in her gift guide for you to share with your partner. Her pin is definitely eye-catching! 

Beautiful food for Valentine’s Day

Jane from Hodge Podge Days has made a gorgeous pin for her Romantic Rose Cupcakes. You can can the recipe and the pin over on her blog. 

Afternoon tea is big thing here in Cornwall so I’m loving Scandi Mummy’s idea of taking your loved one out for a stylish afternoon tea for Valentine’s Day.

Crafts ideas for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day can be shared with the whole family and Luschka from Diary of a First Child shares her crafty side with us and how to make Valentine’s heart-flakes, felt roses and Valentine’s fortune cookies. Susan K Mann has great ideas for card making with kids, and Jules from Pondering Parenthood has a book review and Valentine’s craft activity from her Pondering Playtime series.
