Autumn is my favourite season. Summer has long gone, the weather has turned colder and the darker evenings are here to stay for a few months. Autumn brings wonderful colours all around us. The leaves on the trees are falling in all different shades of browns and oranges. We love to go for walks kicking the leaves as we go.
Which brings us to November’s Pinterest Round-up. This month I’m sharing with you lots of pins and topics around the theme of Autumn. Expect to see activities, crafts, and recipes. I will however be starting off with Jo’s Autumn Bucket List from A Rose Tinted World. Jo’s pin is very Autumnal. The font colour she has used is a gorgeous brown/orange tone and her photos on the pin shows us her Autumn activities.
The Autumn months normally have lots of dry, yet cold days. So getting outside is a must, especially if you suffer from the Winter Blues. Catherine over at Growing Family shares her pin on Fun Outdoor Activities For Autumn to help you make the most of being outdoors with nature. Also what bulbs to plant in your garden at this time of year. Catherine’s pins are branded with her signature logo and colour’s so instantly recognisable to her.
I’m sure if you have an active toddler like I do, then finding activities to do with them what ever the weather is a necessity to keep them busy. This month I’m enjoying Claire’s Autumn Activities For Toddlers from The Ladybirds Adventures. Claire’s lovely pin shows us a fantastic toddler busy tray and a messy play activity. Great for ideas for your own activities.
Ruth from Craft with Cartwright has this delicious recipe for Apple Cinnamon Muffins and her pin shines through with muffin delights. Perfect hot or cold for this time of year. With Halloween behind us now, many of us have lots of left over pumpkin seeds, and Heather from Mrs Mactivity has lots of ideas on what to do with them. Check out her colourful pumpkin pin to discover all her tips. I do quite like the idea of roasting them for a quick snack.
Jane from Hodge Podge Days has this simple Autumn Leaf Faces craft for kids. Her pin is rich and striking for a craft pin. It shows us the finished craft, plus a tease photo of how it’s done. Again lots of Autumn colours in the pin. If you have a preschooler, then an easy craft would be to make a wreath with the leaves and pines cones you have collected on your walks. Louise from Little Hearts. Big Love has made a pin on just this. Her Creating an Autumn Wreath pin is very popular on Pinterest. Jenny from The Gingerbread House uses leaves to make beautiful Autumnal Suncatchers. Jenny’s pin is strong amongst others and shows us the wonderful finished craft.
