My dog loves Autumn – all those leaves to chase and jump into, but I’m already thinking ahead to Christmas with these easy to make Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits which make a great gift.
My Mummy’s World is going to have a super busy time over autumn and winter, having just introduced two totally adorable new puppies into the home. And speaking of new pups, A Happy Health Mummy has some great advice on the most ethical ways to find your new puppy and avoid the awful puppy farm trade.
There’s some excellent advice here if you ever find yourself in the sad situation of having to re-home a pet because you become too ill to look after it, or perhaps you’re bereaved and inherit a pet after its owner has passed.
And finally a post which brought more than one tear to my eye, Going On an Adventure talks movingly about their final days with their beloved dog Thomas. Please join me in sending love and best wishes to Collette and her family at this difficult time.
If you have any pet related posts you’d like me to include next time, please tweet me @missielizzieb. I’m particularly interested in other animals (dogs always seem to get the limelight!) and any Christmas related posts you have coming up.

Great read, thanks Liz! We would be delighted to contribute to your next post. We have a clever subscription service protecting cats and dogs from fleas and worms. We have also just launched a luxury hamper gift box that fits through the letterbox, filled with organic treats and ethically sourced toys - supporting British brands.
