What a month! We’ve just finished celebrating our two older boys’ birthdays as they turned 6 and 4 together, and I miss the party planning already. Thankfully the early months of the year always have so much to celebrate – St. Patrick’s Day has been on the agenda this week, along with my own 40th birthday.

Whilst I was setting up our Leprechaun’s little tricks ready for our boys, over at the Purple Pumpkin I found the perfect St. Patrick’s Day dessert – simple, effective and if you’ve got little [and big] children, it’s a must have on the party menu!

We’ve had our cheeky little Irish Leprechaun called Dublin visiting to throw his rainbow party this week – but now we’re patiently waiting for the Easter Bunny to come with his beautiful baskets and an egg hunt in the garden. A few years ago we had what I think was the cutest Easter celebration when we only had two boys – complete with huskies, marshmallow Peeps and chocolate Easter crowns.

And speaking of cute, there’s nothing more sweet than a baby shower – but when it’s a BUNNY baby shower, I’m just swooning! Over on the pages of Capture by Lucy, the little Spring bunnies are adorable – and I’m completely in love with the idea of spending an afternoon making floral crowns with blossom and petals now. Perfect for Spring parties!

If you haven’t thrown a party yet this year, and you’re not sure where to start, Nadine has some brilliant recommendations over at JuggleMum to get your alfresco entertainment plans underway!

Finally this month, if it’s a really special first birthday party, take a look at the twinkly milestone celebrated over at Our Cherry Tree Blog – both he and his little party are too gorgeous.

Next month I’m looking forward to seeing all of your Easter posts – don’t forget to send them in!
