Once again bloggers from up and down the country made their way to The Brewery to celebrate the UK’s BIGGEST blogging event of the year BritMums Live 2013, some of the 500+ delegates had even travelled from abroad returning to the UK to meet some of their favourite bloggers and spend a weekend of knowledge, fun and laughter together.
This year started with real style as Kirsty Allsopp gave her keynote speech sharing her career journey and later signed books in the Hub. There were discussions in the den, sessions for beginners and advanced bloggers, workshops and the Brilliance in Blogging party and ceremony.
Katie Piper touched every heart in the room with her emotional ‘Things Get better’ keynote on Saturday morning and there were tears streaming once again after the bloggers keynotes as we all sang together Kerry AKA Multiple Mummy’s favourite song Firework in her memory, I don’t think that song will ever be the same again for me.
Bloggers were able to speak with PR’s and brands who want to reach out to the blogging community making great contacts for the coming year and there were prizes won too.
We ate, we drank and we had immense fun; do consider it for next year it really is a ball.
