The October Video Round-up: The one with no theme!

video round upOctober’s theme is… there is no theme. I asked you to send me what you are proud of…..

My proud moment this month came when I was asked by Whittard of Chelsea to provide some tips on time management for a campaign they were running to encourage people to let their tea brew properly. A longer brew = a better cuppa so I helped them to see what could be done in the few minutes of tea brewing time! You can get some ideas here!

Kate from WitWitWoo shares her vlogging confidence tips this month. This is something that we could all use a boost of from time to time! If you are nervous about getting in front of the video camera then this is a must watch! She has also done another post on ‘what to vlog about‘.

You will notice Kate’s reference to #VlogChallenge in her ‘confidence tips’ post. To fill you in, #VlogChallenge was co-founded by Kate and Nicki and the aim is to encourage people to vlog! Learn more about what is involved here and also see the weekly linky’s that the girls have uploaded so that you can share your fab vlogs from your YouTube channel and get more views!

My next pick this month is by Sian of the blog You’re Not From Round Here. This vlog is compelling viewing – she actually cut off her long, flowing locks for charity! Her long hair is to be donated to make a wig for a child with cancer and you can watch the vlog of the nerve wracking chopping moment here!

The rest of our vlogs this month are travel related. First we have Em from Brummy Mummy of Two who sent in her LEGOLAND Windsor Vlog – she says it’s “One of the best days out ever!”

Lisa from Hollybobbs shared her Mark Warner video for the round-up. It was lovely to see where they went, after many of us met Emilia and Polly at BritMums Live back in June when they talked about this opportunity.

Finally, Kirstie from The Family Adventure Project has sent in an amazing post this month, from her recent travels to Japan. This post is well worth a read and a watch! She has not only done a short movie at the end but also a trailer for it! The video has had four thousand views and a heap of comments – you can see it here

Please visit each others posts and comment – remember, sharing is caring!

The theme next month is what have you been up to since the kids went back to school! You could vlog about your thoughts now the little ones are at nursery or big school, how it feels now the teenagers have left school and you haven’t had a ‘new term’ or maybe just vlog one of the days out you’ve had since September!

As always, interpret the theme how you wish and send your blog posts containing your video to me by Friday 14th November 2014. You can tweet me, @Businessmum, or email me through my blog JuggleMum.
