Every time I write one of these round-ups I try to seek out a new theme so I can offer you something different from each round-up and I’ll be honest, it is not always easy. So this month I thought I would highlight for you some wonderful linkys that will bring you joy, make you happy or inspire you to seize the day.
Share the Joy – (Monday) The posts that are linked up to Michelle’s share the joy linky are really varied as everyone has a different interpretation of what bought them joy and this means you get to read posts you would not normally have found and that is always a good thing. It is also worth whilst you are there having a good nosey across the whole Joy Chaser site as everything about it is positive and inspiring.
What’s the Story – (Monday) Charly at PODCast runs three fabulous photography projects, this one that inspires us to share the story behind the photo. The Black and White photography project which pushes us to step outside our regular settings and the alphabet project which can be interpreted in any way we fancy.
Monday Escapes – (Monday) If you need some inspiration of where to take your next holiday or short-break look no further than this linky hosted by Packing my Suitcase and My Travel Monkey, there are so many fantastic posts linked up every week and I come away with absolute wanderlust.
Magic Moments – (Monday) Jaime has been hosting this super positive linky for a few years now. Each Monday you can link up any post where you share those moments that are pure magic to you. Interpret the prompt how you will and thus there is always a great variety to read.
Reasons to be Cheerful – (Thursday) I started this linky back in 2011 as part of my own personal journey to seek out the good in life and to practise the principle of gratitude. The at the end of 2013 I handed it over to Becky at Lakes Single Mum and Jo at OJOs World as it had been a really positive experience for them joining in over the preceding couple of years and even helped Becky lift herself out of depression. Why not head over and join their friendly #R2BC community to share what is making you cheerful this week?
Prose for Thought – (Thursday) I find Vic at Verily Victoria Vocalises to be one of the most encouraging and warm bloggers out there. She always makes time for people and she has definitely inspired me to believe in myself as far as writing is concerned and to try something different – poetry and prose in this case.
Little Loves – (Friday) Each Friday Morgana at Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat encourages us to post about our week and use the titles of read, watched, made, heard and wore. It is a fabulous way to be able to do a weekly round-up and can inspire you to post again when you’ve had a break or feel a bit of blogging fatigue.
Recipe of the Week – (Saturday) I’m not much of a cook and I often get stuck in the rut of preparing the same meals week in and week out and thus Emily’s recipe of the week linky is just perfect for me as it gives me lots of new inspiration and stops my family passing out with boredom!
The Ordinary Moments – (Sunday) Katie at Mummy, Daddy, Me has one of the most beautiful blogs around due to her stunning photography and gorgeous family but what I really love is that Katie is a really sweet person and so encouraging to others. Here is an extract from Katie’s blog about why she started the Ordinary Moments project –
‘The simple things in life are often the sweetest. While the fancy days out, weekends away or holidays are fun, it’s the ordinary moments I will miss when my children are all grown up. The snuggling in bed reading a story. The giggles as they run around my overgrown garden with the grass that desperately needs a cut. Even the naughty ones. The ones we all have. Just a photo from your week. The simple. The exciting. The imperfect. The Ordinary Moments.’
I hope you have found a linky that manages to encourage and inspire you, please leave me a comment if it is not listed here and I’ll definitely check it out.
Have a blessed month, thanks. Mich x
About Michelle Pannell
Mummy from the Heart is the fourth baby of Michelle, a 46 year old (manic) mother living in East Sussex. Having moved to the countryside and ‘retired’, Michelle can now be found eating too much cake and taking long walks. She lives life on the bright side and looks for the joy in every situation, even the excess pounds those cakes keep adding! Michelle’s blog is a very honest place where she shares tales of imperfect parenting, being a Christian digital activist and anything else that takes her fancy.

I've just started my own linky which I'm co-hosting with WanderMum - called City Tripping, it's on Tuesdays. As it's all of one day old, I'm not sure we're quite inspirational yet, but there's lots of lovely travel if anyone fancies checking it out or linking up... www.mummytravels.com and www.wandermum.co.uk
And another vote for Monday Escapes which I love!
