Hello and welcome to November’s edition of Newbie Tuesday. ‘Who the hell are you?’ I hear you cry. Well I’m Katie from Hurrah For Gin, pleased to meet you! ‘But what have you done with the lovely Actually Mummy?’ I’m sorry to tell you that she is currently off partying so you are stuck with me guest posting this month but don’t worry, I have oodles of lovely new bloggers to introduce you to!
First up we have a blogger whose biggest fear is turning into a frump and who lists ones of her favourite things as G&T – Not a Frumpty Mum is a woman very much after my own heart. In her Watch the Gap post she talks about finding the perfect sibling age gap – is there such a thing? Well it’s a bit late for Two Boys One Mum – currently pregnant with her second and on the receiving end of ever so helpful comments like ‘Ooh did you mean to have them so close’ and ‘Quick enjoy everything now!’. Don’t you just love ‘friendly advice’?! Grrr.
If you like a chuckle and a good dose of reality check out Make Me an Earth Mother, she asks Is it just us making carrot muffins at 5am? No, no sadly not – damn you clock change! You can find more camaraderie for sleep issues over on My Toddler Rules…that’s official. Thrust into motherhood for the third time at the age of 47 this inspiring lady is desperate to get her little girl to sleep through the night, read her Tough Love updates for some practical tips.
Now I love a good craft blog so I am eager to introduce you to a couple of my recent favourites. Life is Peachy will make you feel exhausted just reading her A Not So Creative Friday post – can this women add anymore strings to her bow?! Phew. Hodge Podge is another super blog with reams of cool crafting ideas for kids – her Birthday Craft Box for a 3 year old is one of the sweetest gift ideas I have ever seen. Craft respect ladies.
In family friendly money saving tips are more your thang then check out a lady living the champagne lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget. She has even posted about how you can get Free Chocolate! Nuff said. I am also loving a bit of Skint Dad and his Saturday Night Fake Away’s – each week he cooks up a family feast for under a fiver, all from scratch no less. His Chinese Roasted Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice and Spring Rolls look particularly tasty – all for £4.66!
Finally let’s end with a couple of bloggers who have really inspired me recently. Firstly Ellie Bear Babi for the simple but beautiful activities she does with her baby daughter – see her post on Soft Play Animals, a really lovely idea. Secondly is My little Dreamworld’s Blog, her recent post Grateful Friday really struck a chord. After a difficult week it’s easy to feel down, but remembering all the positive things in your life can give you that much needed boost. I think we all need to remember that at times.
Right that’s it from me; I hope you all enjoy checking out these new blogs. As always if you are a new blogger yourself then please link up below.

I love these roundups - they are such a great way to find great blogs and content. I came to blogging about 8 weeks ago and was paralysed by the amount of 'stuff' out there. Thanks for making it all so much more manageable and enjoyable. Just to add to all the 'stuff' here is my blog

I am trying to think a little more and do a little less. And I am writing my thoughts down once a week. I hope you enjoy it. And if you don't, I am always upon for tips! Have a good week.
