Happy New Year everyone and welcome to the year 2016. If you’re anything like me then you’ve already made a teeny (or not so teeny) list of all the arts and crafts that you’d like to play around with this year … either with or without the kids involvement.

I spend so much time in the car shuttling my girls from A to B that I thought I’d make my new hobbies portable so I can take them out and about. I’ve invested in a lovely portable set of water colour paints, I’m determined to master crochet and I’m also teaching myself the art of Tatting. Keep a look out for how I get on.

Hopefully the following will give you some arty crafty inspiration to give a lift to your New Year Craft Hobby list.
