Hooray for the weekend again!
Isn’t it just the best when the weekend turns up? Is it just me or has life got really hectic since we all hit September?
Whilst lying by the pool in August the odd time I did manage to connect to the WiFi I checked emails and thought ‘That sounds nice.” or ‘that sounds interesting, I’d love to do that.’ and I replied to all of my emails rather enthusiastically and now I find that I have taken on too much and am scrambling to get everything done!
This isn’t a one off for me either and I still have to learn the lesson of saying NO.
Interestingly I read in a woman’s magazine this month, a great article about making yourself UN-busy. The writer was tired of telling people ‘Sorry I’m busy’, ‘Sorry I’m late replying.’ and so was making conscious efforts to make herself un-busy so this ladies and gentlemen will be my new motto for the week ahead, to try and make myself un-busy. I hope I may tempt you too?
I wrote two posts this week that I am proud of, one from our Normandy holiday which talks about Arromanches and the D Day beaches, a stunning place to visit and Autumn gardening which is top of my list this week too, I’m not an expert but an enthusiastic novice who keeps getting it wrong.
