The countdown to Brit Mums Live! is really underway this week and I am really looking forward to it, a while back I took part in Clare’s The Ultimate BritMums Live interview so if you want a little more info on me head over and read. Carly from Stepford Wifey also has a Meet and Greet ready for Brit Mums join in and meet some fellow bloggers before the big event.
I’m also on holiday making this a scheduled post set up before I left which leads me into the question, what do you do with your blog whilst you’re on holiday?
I invited some of my favourite bloggers to write a guest post for me which I scheduled in before I left. This gives them opportunity to reach a new audience who hopefully will cross over and read their blog too and also allows me to offer my readers interesting new posts whilst I’m away having fun. Take a look for yourself and if you’re looking for guest posts, ask me! Guest posts are a great way of adding variety to your blog and meeting new people too.
Another popular idea is to post blogs from your archives. Many bloggers when they started out wrote some brilliant articles that didn’t get a lot of response as they weren’t well known. Readers are growing and changing every day and it’s a good idea to dig out some great past content and show it the light of day again.
In my case it gave me the opportunity to review past posts with fresh eyes, I changed a few words, tinkered with the SEO and tidied up the categories and tags as the more you blog the more you become aware of the importance of these areas.
Don’t forget to add your posts to the various Round-Up Linkys and please find below the #MBPW Linky too.
Happy blogging and see you all at Brit Mums Live!
