My Best Post of the Week

It’s December, let the mayhem begin!

Dare I ask if you’re ready? Did you get advent calendars, did you remember where you’d put them? Yesterday morning my phone was running low and I hunted high and low for my battery charger that ALWAYS lives in the kitchen but wasn’t in it’s place. I even phoned other half to enquire if he’d ‘moved’ it for any reason. No luck, I had no idea where on earth it was until lunchtime when I opened the pots and pans cupboard to put on some water for a quick pasta and there ladies and gentlemen was the charger.

How did it get there? When did I do that and more importantly why?

Oh it’s been an incredibly busy week we even had a fabulous hangout with baking guru Kate Moore which you must check out firstly for the delicious recipe of boozy sultana cupcakes with brandy butter icing and secondly for lots of tips on how to correct baking blunders which may come in handy over the next 25 days or so.
