You can’t keep the smile off my face at the thought of a Saturday, time to relax, to chill and enjoy my family. I love watching daddy play with the girls and I can see how much they adore it too.
This week has been a busy one for us, we visited Burghley House and caught up with Karin and her little people and we had good weather! We visited my mum and the girls loved their first ‘sleepover’ they have had many but don’t seem to remember the others and we bought a caravan – as you do.
When it comes to thinking of future holidays that will have to be taken during the school holidays, my hair went white as I saw costs were tripled as the schools lock their gates ouch! So we hunted up and down the UK for our ‘van’ and we found her in really good nick so this weekend will be all about picking her up and trying her out for the first time.
I have bangers and burgers in the fridge for our first meal, I have a bottle of bubbly too as our van will be welcomed into the family and treated to some pink champagne for a christening, so your BritMums editor will become a glamping gypsy – can you keep up with these heady heights?
