Playing dress up with dolls is a classic kids’ fun. Now it just got even more fun, with the launch of the high-end Swiss Fashion-Doll I’m a Girly, which just landed in Harrods and Hamleys. (BritMums has been working with I’m a Girly in a paid relationship. This is a sponsored post.)

I’m a Girly dolls ready for styling

Outfits and accessories for all types of style
BritMums attended a Styling Event with several BritMums Influencers and their children to see what I’m a Girly was all about. In short we were blown away. These dolls are fun to dress up and have some of the coolest clothing around (new items are developed through the company’s KIDS4KIDS approach: Products are designed by girls and boys aged 9 to 13). They have hair in a variety of colours and textures that’s easy to style and fun to put into plaits, gather into bunches or leave long and natural. The hair is replaceable so you can switch it out and even cut it!
At the event we saw the kids’ creativity run wild as they put together outfits and accessories that created entire personalities for their dolls. Children can choose from a wide range of dolls with varying skin tones and realistic proportions and then design chic looks according to their personal style.

Hair ranges from brown, black and blonde to ombre and pink!

Popular YouTuber Tiana from Toys and Me was there as well with her dad — she created a new style for one doll by cuttings its extra-long hair before signing autographs.
What struck us was how the children at the event loved experimenting with their dolls — trying different looks, different hairstyles. This is a doll that feel thoroughly modern, from the skin tones and hair type to range of clothing to the panel of children who help develop the clothes and accessories.
