Well last month was all about the blogging conference season with BritMumsLive! Wasn’t it a great event for those who went?! But we are back to business as usual with the video round-up and so I have some catching up to do! This round-up features submissions from bloggers who sent things to me in May and June but I saved them for now, so sit back, relax and grab a cuppa because you will want to enjoy these in their entirety. Maybe you are enjoying your summer holiday whilst reading this so here’s some fab vlogging talent to enjoy by the pool, garden or wherever you can get wifi!
July’s theme is ‘dust off your old videos’. This month I don’t care when they were filmed, we all have old posts that are worthy of promotion. Here’s one I did last year about how to get out of a vicious circle. I also have my second ‘Woah-Man! Fashion Vlog to share, in this one I’m talking ‘festival fashion’!
Mari from Mari’s World did a fabulous vlog for the Butlins Skegness review which has been watched over 12,000 times!
Foodie Laura was busy here – she did a Month of Vlogs! Here are her vlogs from some food festivals she attended…
Tracy from Toybuzz did a review of the Hue Animation Studio. She even made a short film about Minecraft and Moshi Monsters! Check it out on her blog.
Lauren from Blogger Mummy Lauren and her family are planting in her greenhouse over on the blog! She also keeps something rather unexpected in her greenhouse too! Check it out!
Kirsty from My Two Mums is looking on the happy side in this post after having some tragic news. It is good to count our blessings…
Penny from A Residence and Emily from A Mummy Too collaborated on this video – how to frost cupcakes! The finished result looks brilliant and it’s surprisingly easy to do!
Lisa from Hollybobbs and her daughter recorded this adorable video! Great idea and something for them to look back on in future years.
Nick from Dinner by Dad writes a letter to his baby son and this time includes a video of Isaac sniffing! It is one of those videos that will make parents smile in recognition, non parents wonder what that is all about and young Isaac when he is older, cringe, but then he’ll be glad eventually that his dad captured those baby moments!
Ben and Sophie from Franglaise Cooking made me hungry this month when I watched their recipe for a gorgeous Clafoutis Aux Cerises – a classic French dessert. Enjoy making this delicious pudding and hearing Ben’s accent! Et Voila!Plus, Sophie from Franglaise Mummy shares her family video here of a holiday to Wales.
A Residence Penny takes us on a yurt tour during her holiday in Somerset and the video also contains days out to Cheddar Gorge and the beach! I felt like I was on holiday with her and Annie from Mammasaurus (now Manneskjur) when I watched this!
Eileen from ET Speaks from Home has been busy – here are three posts containing videos for you to check out!
First, how to make a perfect SMore. Next, she was sent a Rhino Shield screen protector for a mobile phone and vlogs her test to see exactly how strong the protection is! Lastly, a toy review – an Air Hogs Titan.
Chloe from Sorry About The Mess captured her younger son’s first steps in this video and her older son enjoyed a day at Daddy’s office!
Liska from New Mum Online digests her BritMums Live experience in this post vlogged on her mobile phone. Warning, it’s a long vlog and a long post but worth sticking with if you want to feel like you are having a heart to heart with her and also seeing one of the BritMums sessions again! I missed this ‘live’ so I’m glad you recorded it Liska!
Kate from WitWitWoo issues a vlog challenge for the week! A great reason for vloggers and those who want to experiment with vlogging to get involved! She has collaborated with Nickie from Typecast on this project so interpret the theme how you wish and vlog on! Kate’s own contribution to the beauty challenge she set is on the post along with the vlog challenge instructions…
Jane from Practically Perfect Mums joined in on the first vlog challenge (week 1) which was for ‘Top Tips’. Jane shares her top tips for decluttering in this vlog!
Sarah from Glasgow Mummy has come up with her own virtual ‘armchair game’ to celebrate the Commonwealth Games starting in Glasgow! It is a ‘banana quick draw’ game from what I can see but that isn’t the main funny part… watch along if you want a giggle!
Claire from Clairejustineoxox did a video about a recent trip to Butlins! There are some great fairground shots here too!
Emily from A Mummy Too drank vinegar! I watched this video with my lips puckered at the thought. See here to find out why…
Steph from Steph’s Two Girls wrote a moving post about her daughter Sasha and her experience of the school play. It contains 2 lovely videos of Sasha’s solo performance– for an audience of one….. and us lot! Well done Sasha!
Lastly, Jai from Kiddy Reviews shows us what’s in her bag! There are three videos on this post!
Please visit each others posts and comment – remember, sharing is caring!
We are taking a summer break in August when the kids are off school but this video round-up will be back in September when I will want to see your holiday vlogs! The theme in September is therefore ‘holidays’ – you could vlog about what you did with the kids, where you travelled or maybe even your staycation at home! As always, interpret the theme how you wish and send your blog posts containing your video to me by Friday 12th September 2014. You can tweet me, @Businessmum, or email me through my blog JuggleMum.
