As you know, BritMums are interested in partnerships that benefit our community both individually and collectively.
We are exicted to announce that we have teamed up with leading qualitative research company, The Idea Architects, to look at the potential for qualitative research amongst the blogging community.
The Idea Architects has been inviting companies to submit the one burning question they would most like to ask parent bloggers and their readership and will be running a focus group to discuss these questions at BritMums Live! We would like to invite you to take part in the discussion.
What does it involve?
The focus group will take place at the conference venue, The Brewery from 12pm to 1.30pm on Friday 22nd June – just before the conference starts. Please don’t apply unless you are attending BritMums Live! and can commit to these timings. We will provide a light sandwich lunch and will finish in plenty of time to register for the conference; we promise you will not miss anything!
The focus group will consist of a maximum of eight parents bloggers. We will informally discuss the questions that have been submitted by the interested companies; an example might be what you feel to be the biggest challenges facing parents nowadays. There are no right or wrong answers and it should be an interesting and fun session. We might ask you to give one or two of the questions some prior thought and to bring along an item or photo to help you explain your thoughts and opinions. We will then ask each of you to choose one of the questions to blog about over the next week or so and to prompt and enourage debate amongst your readership.
You will be paid a total of £75 for taking part in the focus group, for subsequently blogging about one question and encouraging debate on your blog.
