Introducing your new BritMums blog editor!

Your new blog editor, Marianne from Mari's World

Well, lovely readers, I wanted to write a short post to say that I am moving on from editing the BritMums blog to working with BritMums in other capacities, including BritMums Pro, the Brilliance in Blogging Awards and of course BritMums Live! (see you there?).

One of the things I have loved the most about editing the blog has been working with so many parent bloggers and making some really solid connections–colleagues and friends. Some of the things I am most looking forward to in my new roles include continuing to work with many of you to develop the ideas we’ve been talking about and discovering new ways to promote the parent blogging community in the UK in the coming months.

You can still contribute to the BritMums blog in the same way, check out the contributor guidelines for more information, and you can still contact BritMums in the same way: info (at) britmums (dot) com. Don’t forget how important it is to add your voice to the conversation; use the BritMums blog to reach thousands more readers than you might otherwise and let’s continue to move parent bloggers centre stage!

But one final point, and the most important one, is to introduce you to the new editor of the blog, Marianne Whooley, who blogs at Mari’s World. Mari is one of the most organised, kind, inspirational and dynamic parent bloggers I know and I look forward to seeing Mari work her magic on the BritMums blog!
