Interested in getting involved in the Skylander Ambassador Scheme?

Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is delighted to be sponsoring Brit Mums Live.  Since launching in October 2011 we’ve worked with many parent bloggers on exclusive news, reviews, competitions and events to help us communicate this innovative video game which is the first of its kind. Skylanders is currently the number one game in the UK (software plus toy sales) and since launch, more than 30m toys have been sold worldwide!

For those who don’t know, Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure uniquely combines collectible real-world toys with an epic virtual game world, creating a new platform for communal play.  Through a revolutionary use of technology, children can collect toys and bring them to life and transport them directly into the game using a mystical Portal of Power – a magical gateway between our world and Skylands. Each toy ‘has a brain’ and all experiences and capabilities achieved in the game are embedded inside the toy and travel with the toy.

All Skylanders toys have cross platform functionality. Put simply, this means kids who have the Wii version of the game, for example, can take their toys to play with a friend who has the PS3 version and their Skylander’s toys will still work. Perfect for a play date!

In 2012, we are looking to develop more relationships within the blogging community and have exciting new launches to announce between now and the end of the year.  If your family would like to get involved in the Skylanders Ambassador Scheme and be amongst the first in the world to check out new products, contact jen@carouselpr.com
