Home & Design Round-up: Cottages, home selling & container gardening

Well hello, lovely bloggers and blog readers. I hope you have all recovered after the glorious weekend. Not only was the sun shining down on us, but BritMums Live happened with a big and stylish bang. So with both a summery and new theme this month, here are some of the things filled with new sunshine that I have been reading…

First up, I couldn’t think of a more perfect post than this one from Coombe Mill. A family farm with gorgeous cottages, available to rent. I loved following the updates of this cottage renovation on instagram, and this is the final reveal post, for your delectation. I’ve also been following this house remodel from Maybush Studio, what a huge challenge this must be, and I can not wait to see the finished result for this home.

Off to pastures new, and thinking of to selling your house? In this post from Tales of a Twin Mum, she gives her top tips and tricks to sell a home. This would be one of my top tips, flowers inside and out – and in this lovely post from Penny, she shows us the art of container gardening. I can’t resist a good gardening post!

Which brings me to this from My Scandinavian Home, about a beautiful apartment – a feel of summer in the light, bright and to my eye perfect abode. I’ve been looking at inexpensive ways of adding a floral vibe to a home this summer with this post.
