4. Camping holds its own appeal (even for reluctant campers!) 

British camping has its advocates and Helen from Actually Mummy is now wondering why it took her so long to take the family. Well-traveled Helen regrets not returning to the good old-fashioned camping trip in Great Britain sooner. She encourages us to carry on camping even as we get older, with suggestions on how to love camping. Hint, it includes pizza ovens, giant games of Jenga, treehouses, yurts and festivals. 6. You can experience tranquil wildlife getaways  

Gretta at Mums Do Travel gave us a rich menu of things to do in the Isles of Scilly. In place of kids’ clubs and whizz-bang attractions it has excellent accommodation, great food, white sandy beaches, uninhabited islands and gorgeous scenery. Plus, we love the idea of swimming with a seal!
